The Wiscasset Yacht Club was founded in 1952. Thanks to the hard work of our founding members and the many members who have followed them, we have a lovely building on the Sheepscot River in Wiscasset Harbor. A family yacht club established for the enjoyment of our beautiful area.

Open House will be rescheduled for later in the Summer due to the building relocation project. More info TBA. The Summer Social will be held on a Saturday after July 4. An exact date will be set as soon as possible.

We do have a number of openings for new members, and we welcome your referrals! Please share your WYC & nautical photos and we will post them here in our gallery. Use “email me” button below.

In Memory of Vonceal Grant

If you happened by the Club any given weekend during the past  2 years, chances are very good that you were greeted by Vonceal Grant. She was our super-steward last year, volunteering so much of her time at one of the places she liked best. Vonceal was instrumental in the raffles at our banquets, she put on amazing Sunday coffees at the Club, showed up with all kinds of food for our work crews, served on the board as House & Grounds co-chair, and volunteered to help out in every way possible at every opportunity. Vonceal will truly be missed and we are all grateful for her friendship and all she has done for the Club.
