As better weather finally arrives, a reminder: 2008
membership forms are due
April 1,
2008 and are considered lapsed on or after May 1, 2008. If
you have lost your form or never received a form, you can
download a
membership form,
or email (barry@jsea.net)
or call your membership officer, Barry Todd at 443-3359
to request forms.
In an effort to conserve your valuable membership dollars,
we will be trying whenever possible and/or practical to
reach you through email rather than through mass mailings
this year. Postage rates will increase to 42 cents on May
12, 2008. It is more important than ever that we have your
current email address.

that not everyone uses email, but for those of you who
do, it is a big time saver and stretches our dollars
just a little farther. Thank you!
A few new things:
- A new steward program will take effect this year. An
orientation will be provided for stewards which will
outline duties & responsibilities as well as
compensation. More information to come.
- The Club will be instituting a small
dinghy fee
for those of you who leave your dinghies at the Club
dock.
The fee will be $15.
More information on this topic will be given at the
banquet. Meanwhile, if you have questions, please contact
an officer for details.
Membership cards, a calendar of events, and stickers for
your vehicle will be mailed out next month. Thank you for
your patience as your new membership officer learns the
ropes. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. A
